This particular photo has numerous technical problems but it's my first usable photo of this bird so I'm happy with it. It's an extreme crop and if I had my druthers I'd have used the flash off-camera so I wouldn't have had to resort to Photoshop to fix the very very red eye. The nest tree will have to come down sooner or later (cottonwoods have a habit of falling down & crushing stuff) so I want to get my owl photos while I can.
