Out of respect for Brian's rules
I'll not respond here on your points.

I truly posted here only because of how this impacts photo journalism
and the new cameras which produce HD video.

I do believe that this night we (US of A) have stepped into a new historic 
era
where these cameras will produce journalism and they will be carried
by passionate journalists doing the work that "needs" doing.

Anyone wishing to discuss the most important political ramifications
