Certainly not unreasonable to seek a tool that delivers the results you seek.
Expecting high ISO performance from CCD sensors, so far, seems wishful 
thinking.

So far we find the high ISO sensors in the latest Cmos tools.

While the M9 appears to perform significantly better than it's M8/8.2 
predecessors
it doesn't come anywhere close to the high ISO performance of current Cmos 
sensors.

Yet the M form factor has no competition.

Compromises and trade offs.
