They appear over sharpened to me though. I went back to primes after a long time as I needed fast lenses - all photographs either taken with a Nikon D700 with either the 50mm f1.4 or 85mm f1.8 (both rather old in the tooth), depending on how close I could get to the stage - these events draw pretty big crowds!
