I have to think either color or monochrome before taking the picture. This means, of course, that I usually have to have at least two cameras handy, digital for color (now Kodachrome is gone) and film for B&W. I know I'm luckier than many on the list in having a darkroom available, so I can work this way. When I walk around with only one camera, I'm much more comfortable taking the one with B&W film in it. (Might be different if I had an M8 or M9) I know, I'm weird ;~) Alan Alan Magayne-Roshak, Senior Photographer UPAA POY 1978 University Information Technology Services University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee amr3 at uwm.edu http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alan+Magayne-Roshak/
