It provides some insight into the differences between an M9 and an MF camera (and incidentally, a Canon 1Ds III). Some of the things they discovered are well known to users of Canons and Leicas; ie, there is a 'veil' over the Canon images, and post processing cannot achieve the accutance of the M9 images. Also, putting a 24-105 zoom on the Canon is just giving away way too much when the Leica sports a 50 ASPH. But basically, an M9 can, with good technique, stand up quite well to MF at sizes up to A3+. -- * Henning J.
