A couple years after the boys and I planted it, Coco, our Lab puppy chewed it up, and almost killed it. I let it alone, trimming what I needed to, and it came back. Then a few years later, in 2002 a limb fell out of our oak tree, and smashed it to the ground. It is back, and blooms almost every year. I like seeing it from my window as it is one of the few trees that change color here in the fall. http://www.sonc.com/tree/pages/17.htm -- Regards, Sonny http://sonc.com/look/ Natchitoches, Louisiana USA
