Here's a cyclist doing a VERY rapid descent from Donner Summit (on the old road, not I-80) <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/Landscapes/Lake-Tahoe/14018035_JMVt4#1039248121_T2UQu-A-LB> Only a few moments later he had dropped down quite a way: <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/Landscapes/Lake-Tahoe/14018035_JMVt4#1039248236_s3q3W-A-LB> I believe the 2011 Tour of California riders will climb this grade up from Donner Lake on their way to Sacramento next May. I set the 560mm Teleyt f5.6 up on the tripod and played with some images out on the Lake Tahoe itself. This pedal boat looked like it would be fun to operate: <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/Landscapes/Lake-Tahoe/14018035_JMVt4#1039248105_VeYp9-A-LB> And one morning there was this couple out on paddle-boards (????) slipping along the surface of the lake: <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/Landscapes/Lake-Tahoe/14018035_JMVt4#1039247927_dGfWU-A-LB> There are some panoramas I'm playing with also. Ripples make them difficult. More successful was this one of Silver Lake from Rt88 <http://adam-bridge.smugmug.com/Landscapes/Lake-Tahoe/14018035_JMVt4#1037263128_TXJ8B-A-LB> There are a few others, less successful, you can take a look at if you like. Comments and critiques appreciated and most welcome. Adam Bridge
