A few comments - 1/ There was never any intention to design H/W specific for Imagestore because we are not in the H/W business. I have a box under my desk which I built up specific for the project using commodity H/W. Currently I am using it as an ordinary NAS running FreeNAS. ImageStore was going to be some code we were going to give away to NAS companies or donate back to FreeNAS, layered on FreeNAS. 2/ I am currently tied up doing a contract. Once I am free of that, I'll get back to ImageStore. As this is a best-effort-on-my-spare-time project, no guarantee of progress, if ever. 3/ I know the pieces, the underlying technology and what I want it to do. It's a matter of knitting all the bits together. 4/ I am also waiting for FreeNAS 8.0.
