Absolutely. I agree.
A fine technical macro shot of an eye.
The "stars" are quite entertaining.
If the intention was to have some fun and see what would happen;
cool ? the cosmic reference; 2001 a space odyssey et al.

Yet I find the "idea" of macro portraits compelling;
and worthy of serious pursuit.
