Subject: [Leica] Some shots with the 75 Heliar Classic f/1.8

Here are som shots taken this morning with the new CV Heliar Classic f/1.8.

The first 4 are at f/1.8, f/2, f/2.8 and f/4. Focus was not adjusted
between the shots. They were taken on an M9 with latest firmware
(that's why the number got reset!) at ISO 160, and shutter speeds
above 1/125 sec. Imported into LR3, camera calibrated but not other
adjustments. No sharpening, no nuthin'.

The last shot is of Howard Cummer at about 1.1m, and only the colour
balance was slightly corrected.

For pixel peepers I've included large files at full resolution, sRGB
jpgs at 70% so they're not too big. Not too much in the way of
artifacts.

Some focus shift is evident, but in general the lens performs very
well, providing a look that's similar to that of the 75 Summilux.
