If Luggers want to be completely logical they should use the Julian date (named after my uncle Julius). Real scientists do. Look it up in Wikipedia. I label all my photos using the "Leica" date, a chronological listing of days starting from November 1, 1879, the birthday of Oskar Barnack. However, I choose my daily wardrobe based on the conventional MM/DD/YY format since, as Rei pointed out, the month is the most important determinant in deciding to wear shorts or woolies. Larry Z
