My darkroom has been closed for six years or so now, but the last several years of printing was almost all platinum/palladium prints, hand-coated paper contact printed under UV lights. Most all of my prints are from in-camera 8x10 negs developed for the particular process. I did experiment with enlarging 4x5 and even smaller negatives with an imagesetter and inkjet, with mediocre results. Some of the best printers enlarge their negatives onto, e.g., 20x24 film for contact printing, a tedious process at best. If this works it will be very well received. Right now the cost of pt/pd printing is quite high, due to the increases in precious metal prices. It wouldn't take long before your portfolio equaled an M9. Thx for sending.
