After spending the morning at the Sammy show ring, we went for a wander around the other tents and encountered this Dobermann puppy. Dobermanns are, in my view somewhat maligned and this chap was a great big softie - he made a huge din when his mum was out of sight for just a few moments! Like I said in the title - a big girl's blouse! I used the Canon 20D rather than a Leica this week, as I needed to use a long zoom lens to get pictures of the dogs that we were interested in. This was taken with the 17-40mm L series lens - a lens that's crying out for a full-frame sensor I feel. http://www.monomagic.co.uk/gallery.php?gallery=paw/2010&image=2010-week23-1.jpg He did well too - getting best in group. I think he has an excellent show career ahead of him! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the shot and as usual, c&c are welcome.
