Subject: [Leica] Mark's week 23 - Ferocious Big Girl's Blouse

We went to the Southern Counties dog show in Newbury last week to start
looking for a breeder for a new Samoyed puppy.
After spending the morning at the Sammy show ring, we went for a wander
around the other tents and encountered this Dobermann puppy.
Dobermanns are, in my view somewhat maligned and this chap was a great
big softie - he made a huge din when his mum was out of sight for just a
few moments! Like I said in the title - a big girl's blouse!

I used the Canon 20D rather than a Leica this week, as I needed to use a
long zoom lens to get pictures of the dogs that we were interested in.
This was taken with the 17-40mm L series lens - a lens that's crying out
for a full-frame sensor I feel.

He did well too - getting best in group. I think he has an excellent
show career ahead of him!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the shot and as usual, c&c are welcome.

Cheers

Mark
