Subject: [Leica] Some Underwater Work

I've been off the list for a few weeks; spent a bit of that time in North
Sulawesi, Indonesia shooting in the Lembeh Strait.  Over a two week period,
I managed over 1,500 images but in underwater work, the reject ratio is very
high- particularly with macro photography.  I'm moving, the subject is
moving, and TTL electronics do not work without the addition of a module
between the housing (camera) and strobes, which I do not have.  Exposure
bracketing is a must underwater.  I made the mistake of taking only one
strobe due to worrying about overweight baggage- hence some bothersome
shadows.  At any rate, I got quite a few keepers and here's an example of a
few.  All images shot with a Nikon D3x, 105mm Macro VR, Aquatica housing,
and Sea & Sea lighting:
