R lenses can be used on the Visoflex, but only for close-up photos. The
Visoflex and the adapter to fit the R lenses to it both act as extension
tubes.

The optical units of the 400mm and 560mm f/6.8 Telyts were also available
for the Visoflex, and existing R f/6.8 Telyts can be used if the R mount
tube is replaced with a Visoflex mount tube. The Visoflex mount tube is
quite scarce and is seldom available without the 400mm or 560mm f/6.8
optical unit.

Similar story for the 400mm and 560mm f/5.6 Telyt lens heads. These lenses
are used with the Televit rapid-focus grip, which was made in two versions
(R and Visoflex).
