I use a GF1 w. 20 f1.7 and a Voigtlander 40mm optical finder (bought from 
Adorama).  Big bright viewfinder and I can see everything with my glasses 
on.  Beautiful lens even at 1.7.  I have not tested it against my M8 but 
I've made 10 x 15" prints that I am happy with.   

Only you can decide about the size.
