But believe me, your stereotype is not off base--one of them asked me, "How do you buy something?" And they freaked out when I showed them how my iphone worked. It's really something spending time with these guys. They are so hungry to learn about the outside world. I was in Luang Prabang Laoas 3 years ago and more than a couple had never heard of Los Angeles, California, the United States, and, what really blew my mind, "Hollywood!"
