Quick Sunday morning thought. For some time I've found that my digital
cameras deliver less apparent DOF. Seemed to me that my 35 lux needed an
extra stop or two to deliver what it used to on the M6. So I reexamined my
viewing habits, and decided that I am much more critical now that I look
at all my images on a screen which can show them 1:1 and 30 x 24 inches.
How often did I look at my prints at that size. Sometimes, but not often.
I have become far more critical of my focus and the limitations of DOF
since moving to digital and a large screen.

Time to print more 6 x 4 snaps and feel happy about my razor sharp lenes
again ;-)

Cheers

Alastair
