After all, if you have a mirror that's properly upsized for MF, it has a linear magnification of 2x (talking about 6x7 here), an aereal magnification of 4x and a mass magnification of 8x. That's a lot of mass to control. If you're shooting a 6x7 rangefinder like the Mamiya 7 with between lens shutter, you don't have to increase shutter speed except possibly for reason a). -- * Henning J.
