By a strange quirk of fate most of my city raised family lives in rural areas. It is a reversal of the tradition of the farm boy leaving the farm for the bright lights of the big city. Here are several equine portraits of their nearby neighbors. Horses in a Virginia field near the Skyline Drive. My oldest daughter wanted to raise llamas in this field but was discouraged when told that horses and llamas didn't get along well together. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Horse+in+field.JPG.html Farm horses belonging to a neighbor. They are very friendly and always approach the fence to see if I have an apple. I estimate it to be close to 90 years old. I hope I'm in as good shape at 90. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Farm+Ford.JPG.html Larry Z
