Hard to imagine that those would be looking at an S2
as their first dip into digital workflow.

But I do know a fellow who changed course in midlife
and became a pro wedding and portrait photographer
by spending a small fortune on workshops all over the country
to get up to digital and professional speed;
after spending most of his life as an corporate executive;
with a love of photography.
He obviously had the financial resources to do it.

He's doing reasonably well and enjoying himself.
