In the town >where slackers were invented? How does a man accomplish all that? (Guess: >pact with Satan.) Vince -- Fortunately, Beelzebub is not deeply involved in my happy circumstances these days. I worked my tail off for years programming PCs and building a small software company. Fortunately, I was able to hand to business over to an amazing manager and leave to do photography full-time with some money in the bank. In my defense, the M8.2 is gone to help offset the M9. I do have a D700 and couple of M7s. I recently found a mint IIIf on eBay that is being CLA'd now -- I can't wait to get my hands on it for some mid-1900s style photography. The Tri-Elmar used to be my favorite lens and now it appears to be worth at least twice what I paid for it used on eBay but it's been usurped by the Nokton 50mm f/1.1 as my everyday lens. I do have a lot of younger friends -- not all slackers, mind you! It's true though, it seems the older I get, the younger my friends get. Damn if a lot of them are very good looking and like having their picture taken. Who am I to say no...? And, finally, I thought all the cool kids exposed their Tri-X at 200... ;) Thanks -- I got a kick out of your posting. .
