I didn't believe it could happen to me, but why should I think I'm different? http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/toast+eatin_+bog+man/March+paperwhite/ Anyway I bought this paperwhite plant on Thursday evening and the light on it today -- a Friday, no less -- was particularly nice during a certain long period in the middle afternoon, so I took many photos of it using a Nikon D40x with an AI Nikkor 35mm f/2.0 lens, and the Panasonic G1 with its own 14-45 kits lens, plus a Summicron 50mm, Minolta MD 24/2.8 and MC 35/2.8, and two CV Color Skopars, the 21/4 and the 35/2.5. Having gone through and found the best in each group (choosing for sharpness) I discovered in the end that while I liked them all my two favorites were the Minolta 24mm and 35mm f2.8's. On the other hand, as romantically throwback-y and fulfilling as I find that news to be, the outstanding (if slow) kits lens pretty much can match any of those lenses in daylight and so carrying the G1 one can easily do with it and a 90mm Elmarit-M, (which I've recently acquired). This bundle is the poor man's version of Nathan's GF1, with the 20mm Lumix pancake, 45mm macro Leica, and 90mm Leica. Comments and criticisms welcome.
