Thanks for the comments, everyone!  I ended up printing this image both 
in B&W and in color.  I think the color wins by a whisker, but it's 
close.  I did indeed do a little more tweaking.  What I posted on the 
LUG gallery was roughed in using Capture One.  When I print, I do a 
16-bit TIFF and edit further in Picture Window Pro.

I've now got a nice 11x14 carbon print in B&W, and a letter sized print 
in color.  One for home and one for the office.
