I love and still use my Powerbook G4 even though it can get a bit slow in LR, being limited to 1.25 GB RAM. But I really wanted something light and small enough to carry around at all times, and the G4 isn't it. I was hoping that Apple would drop its snotty attitude towards netbooks, but got tired of waiting and got an Acer with 2 GB RAM and quite decent performance with Windows 7. This also has the advantage that I learn a bit about Win 7, which is the OS on my wife's computer, so that when she asks for tech support I can actually provide it :-) Cheers, Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu http://www.nathanfoto.com Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog On Jan 28, 2010, at 8:16 AM, Henning Wulff wrote: > I've been a Mac user since spring of 1984 (yes, one of the Mac 128's with > all the signatures inside) but I too will pass on this. > > I was hoping for netbook functionality with a Mac OS.
