The M8 uses the "Camera Standard" calibration as it gives more accurate color than "Adobe Standard." Both cameras use two of the best lens available, with the E-3 handicapped by it being a zoom lens. Most E-3 shots are done half a stop over the widest aperture. All M8u shots are 1 1/3 stop over the widest aperture. Leica UV/IR filter is used on the M8u. There are obvious saturation difference in how the lens / sensors / LR render the images. I use LR to export the JPG with 1200 pixel dimensions, so while not full size, it should give a good idea.
