Just a short comment Mark - the f1.1 uses all spherical elements; the
Cosina page here:
http://www.cosina.co.jp/seihin/voigt/english/standard-e.html
shows the design.  You'll also see that lenses with aspherical
elements have them pointed out by Cosina in the block diagrams.  it
is, however, fairly clear from the design that the 1.1 uses spherical
elements.

I see Robert White is telling people there is an aspherical element.
They are wrong.
