Tina,
Before you listen to any LUG "expert" (including me) on controlling birds of
prey, I suggest you consult this web site:

While killing birds of prey is discouraged, it is possible to get a license
to trap or kill such birds if they are causing economic damage to poultry or
livestock. Contact your state Dept. of Environmental Conservation for more
information.
