[Leica] LUG Yearbook 2009 - just arrived in Hannover

Hi all,

Despite snow and freezing fog, FedEx just door-belled me out of bed with 
a parcel from Holland.


You won't see a film of opening it.


A first glance through it, and I can already say it's infinitely better 
printing quality than in 2008.

This year's pictures are either great, fantastic or breathtakingly 
good!! It's a trip around the world too.

There really are some bloody good photographers on the LUG!! (and the 
youngest is only 16 months old!) and cameras from M9s to P&S and even a 
Minolta Autocord.

Lots of well-known names and quite a few I've never heard of until now - 
they definitely ought to come out of hiding more often!

Infinite thanks to Jim for the wonderful job he's done in making this 
all possible (again) - and to Dr Ted (The Grantch) for kicking a few 
backsides to help get such a wonderfully broad spectrum of outstanding 
photography into this excellent book.
