So far the book project has raised over 4500 GBP in charitable donations - see here... <http://www.justgiving.com/L-Camera-Forum-Book?pid=2160752&dtpn=2&ShortUrl=L -Camera-Forum-Book#DonationTable> This has exceeded anything that any of us involved with the project expected. However, there are a number of people who have donated but are yet to submit their photographs. Taking that into account, together with it being a very busy time of year for many of us, we have decided that the submission deadline will be extended by a month from the end of December 2009 to the end of January 2010. So if anyone here has donated, but not yet submitted their photographs, you have an extra month in which to do so. Additionally, it would be great if we could pass the 5,000 GBP barrier, so if you were a member of the Leica User Forum before the 23rd of November please consider making a donation and then a submission to the project. You can find details of the submission process here... <http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/customer-forum/107183-leica-user- forum-book-contributions-sought.html> Thank you Steve On 12/12/09 16:00, "Steve Unsworth" <lug at steveunsworth.co.uk> wrote: > Another update regarding the Leica User Forum book. > > The Leica CEO Rudi Spiller has kindly agreed to write the foreword for the > book and Leica will also buy a number of copies of the book - presumably > for > distribution to dealers and other interested parties.
