This is a 3 mm thick textured soft vinyl tape with an adhesive back. It comes in black, grey, and white colors and sells for about $2 USD per foot. You can cut circles, squares, triangles, stars, angels or even the letters LEICA from the tape and stick them to your camera. Indeed, you can even cover the entire camera body with it for a really secure hold.
