Ignorance. Ignorance repeated loudly and over and over doesn't become
truth.

Lightroom is great because it was actually designed to be used by
photographers for photography.  It's good with that.  Photography.
As anyone who's actually used if for awhile for, you know, photography,
comes to realize.

Photoshop is a Swiss Army Chainsaw of a program (I swiped that from a
description of emacs) which can be used to do pretty much anything,
including photography.  It's remarkable that way.  But that doesn't
mean that it's the best tool for this particular job. It's great to
have there on your disk for the one percent or less of photos which
need something out-of-the-ordinary done to them.  Then you pull the
starter rope on the chainsaw and put up with the awkward weight of it
in your hand for that job, then shut it back off and breathe a sigh
f relief and get back to the more-natural tool for the other
ninety-nine and a half percent.
