Bought new in January 2008 from a Hong-Kong shop. Worked faultlessly since. There is a slight crack on the LCD display (2cm long) - got it inside my camera bag! but this does not affect any function. Got an estimate by Solms to replace the glass: 200 EUR + VAT (I can forward the estimate e-mail) Otherwise the LCD glass is clean, no scratch (always kept a protective plastic) A (hardly visible) ding on the small plate that covers the zooming wheel. Otherwise excellent, very clean overall, no brassing. Comes with the original instructions, original Leica neck strap, original battery, charger, body cap. Sadly I have lost the code to unlock the PC software that came on the CD-rom with it. Took 5143 pictures with it. Never used in hard conditions or under rain. Sample pictures on request - most are (in low resolution) on http://picasaweb.google.com/jean.louchet/ (all the Mexico ones were taken with this M8) Price EUR 2100 as is, or EUR 2200 including three B+W UV/IR filters diameters: 40.5mm, 46mm, 52mm like new, with their boxes. As I will be driving next week from Paris to Amsterdam, Hamburg and Copenhagen I can deliver to any place on my route; otherwise registered shipping at cost. Payment PayPal or cash on delivery.
