Small capacity cards (1 GB and less) and very large capacity cards (over 32 GB) cost close to the $5 level while the majority of moderate capacity cards (2 to 16 GB) cost close to the $2 to $3 per GB level. The best prices can be found at internet discount electronic stores such as Geeks.com, Newegg.com, Tiger.com, Amazon.com or Micromart.com. There is no difference in the flash cards sold by these discounters and by photo stores. All are made by the same manufacturers. At these prices it is certainly worthwhile to buy a hand full of flash cards for travel rather than an external disc drive. Thank you LUG for your suggestions. Larry Z
