The milk attenuates the bite of the scotch but doesn't change the flavor. And surprisingly brings out the slight sweetness of the alcohol. It is like drinking a 30 proof scotch flavored milkshake. I trained my wife to like smoky scotch through this method. Remember the recipe: one shot of scotch to two shots of milk. Heavy drinkers can reduce the milk to one shot. Add an ice cube to the glass. Really good. Larry Z - - - - - Hi Larry, Without even trying it I can't imagine Lagavulin and milk! Aacccccckkkkkkkk!! :-( Just the thought of it and the description is enough to make one throw-up their guts!!!! Long time NY Congressman Adam Clayton Powell's favorite drink was scotch and milk.
