Seeing it done if seemed not so cool.
When I did it I couldn't look myself in the mirror afterwards.

But I've never read anywhere what the etiquette on such a thing is.
Most etiquette is based on common sense. And the least common denominator.
Seems like a kissing cousin to spamming.
Sounds the same. Tastes the same. ...
