I am not a big player in stock; I do not send things in to sit and wait for
a suitable suitor to pick my pretty picture.
That said, I've sold maybe two dozen shots to text books and other
publishers.
They've found my pictures either on my website, through Google images and
the like, or they have seen my work in magazines and other publications.
Since I insist on credit for publication, that has led to several other
sales.
I do have a day job, so I don't think I have the stamina to get out there
and do the stock agency thing Tina and Ted describe.
I'd rather just keep a loose association with a couple of magazines and try
to keep them happy until I finish my day job.
