I had a similar experience with the same lens and for the same service.  I 
sent mine in a month before yours. They said 4-6 weeks.  I was hoping to get 
it back before I went to Japan, but no dice.  Anyway, on week 6, I called 
and they said, "Oh, I'm sorry, there's been a delay, and it will be another 
two weeks."  To be fair, it wasn't another two weeks, only one, but still...
