"As I remember it, in Munich Oktoberfest starts in September. I have 
only
been to three of them.

My wife could proudly recall the names of all the Munich breweries.  We
downed a stein of each
at each breweries "tent" at the Marienweisse.   I don't think I could
remember more than three now.!"

The marzen beer served in the giant tents at Oktoberfest is about 25% 
stronger than the usual lager. My best and haziest memory of 
Oktoberfest is 10,000 drunks staggering on the streets of Munich at 
closing time. Second is men standing three deep in the pissoir trying 
to urinate against a wall. Other than that, I don't remember anything.
