A proposal is written TO ( yes, that is capitals) a possible sponsor who has some interest in the subject of the idea. It is always tuned to the sponsor's ideas, values, etc. Usually a contact inside the sponsor helps, a lot. or... You write a Grant request to a sponsor that has shown interest in a certain idea. Tuning comment still applies. There is no room for vagueness. Just some thoughts... Doug is superb at pictures of wildlife. Who wants pictures of wildlife? The S2 will ( maybe) create great quality images for big blowups. Who wants this? What is Doug willing to do? What is he willing to supply as a deliverable? How much money are we talking? Budget? Forget Leica unless osmeone has a contact. They know about Doug, and have not offered... ie, they don't care. They have threir own ideas of their marketing plan, and Doug does not fit into it. Frank F
