One thing I gotta tellya. I was in New York a few weeks back doing some headshots for this company my wife works for (managed with available light only, in the fine Leica tradition.) We decided to explore the Hudson River Valley for a coupla days, and we stopped in the art museum at SUNY New Paltz. There I saw some really captivating shots by a fellow who's name I recall from the LUG named J. Gilbert Plantinga. I must say, besides being a very aware photographer this guy is one of the best color printers I can remember seeing in quite some time. I went over to his studio to check out his operation (Upstate Light, I think it's called) and now I'm digging through some files in order to send him some stuff to print. Meantime, here's something from yesterday. I was shooting some sandpipers (from low on a beach with the 400 Telyt) when a fight broke out: http://www.pbase.com/image/116524207 Bob Palmieri
