I used M3's, M4's, M6's, M7's - now I use M8's. They are a tool I use to take photographs. They don't die if you breathe on them. I have had more electronic problems with my pro level Canon 5D and 1DMII than I have with my M8's. I have saved enough in film and developing since I got my M8's to be able to spend thousands on the next latest gizmo from Leica which I hope will be an M9. I don't consider my Leica lenses to be over-hyped or over-priced. I consider them to be the best lenses for the type of photography I do. That's the only reason I have them.
