Had a client bring a bunch of that stuff into the lab one time... 9 rolls, seven different emulsions. Apparently Freestyle was, at that time, buying up odds and sods and rag-ends of things from Gods only know where and loading them out under the house label. (Not seven lots, seven emulsions. 3M, a TMax trial lot, 2 different Ilford "Field Trial" lots, an Agfa, 2 Ilford Universal, 2 EK movie films.) All in the same canisters with the same labels. They all generated decent images for non-critical use, but I'd have hated to try to make them all match for critical work and I wouldn't have wanted to do serious work with them... This was several years back and they may not be doing that any more, but I'd still want to be careful.... -- R.
