I usually start most items below $10 and let the world-wide market decide the value. Likewise, I bid what I consider a fair value on for-sale items and hope there isn't someone else bidding who needed it yesterday. Some of the best deals are on Buy-It-Now offers where the seller needs to unload quantity. I just boutht a $200+ Price-Pfister kitchen faucet with BuyItNow for $78 including shipping. As for Leica's on eBay, I don't see many of the high-priced items selling. Prices have fallen in general, and I have gotten the highest bids mostly from overseas these days. Hmmm . . maybe all the "stimulus" money went offshore?
