My V system ( 500CM type of camera) can be loaded up with a Digital back and use my current glass.... I do concur that my V system is only manual focus, but then again, it is meant to be used in a studio where AF may be more of a nuisance than a benefit. And it already exists. Tough market competitor. Don't/didn't remember reading the first part of this...... "There will be no digital SLR camera by Leica and no R10. But there will be and we are working on this, a suitable solution to allow the use of R lenses digitally.... Nothing to do with the S2. Not before next Photokina". I am curious.... if there is another solution to use R lenses digitally, but not an SLR, then what? An M10 that takes R lenses? A digital View Camera? Digi-TLR? A bit more fodder to think about...... I think we are all getting bambazooled. Seems like obfuscation..... The words make no sense, and in my opinion, neither does the direction they seem to tell us they are moving towards. But that should be pretty obvious from my postings....... I still want my M9 and Digi-SLR that uses R lenses, even if they do not call it an R10...... Frank Filippone red735i at earthlink.net
