US pricing for a Demo M8 is $3100 ( Popflash).  All day long.  Warranty is 1
year.

New, M8.2 are selling for $5400 I think minus a rebate of $1500.....   $3900
net.  2 year warranty  Check to see if the rebate is still available.

What is a 1 year warranty on an M digicam worth to you?

Rationally the M8.2 probably is not worth the considerable difference  
in current price.
