One thing we like about Santa Cruz is that the freespirits, the descendants
of the 60?s flower children still live. Blackbird Raum is a high energy
?anti-politic? street band. Their music is punkish, and dare I said it,
?Celtic? inspired? Anyway, with a washboard, metal tub string (bass?),
accordion, and a couple banjo / mandolin, they brawl (sic) out danceable
tunes with end-of-the-world lyrics. Good time.
