Around at the time the price of a Leica 50 Summicron; the cheapest lens Leica made. But this was a 1.4 wide ASPH what a deal! With crinkle finish yet! A Near Noctilux for my Nikons. Leica glass feels real cheap if you've been building up your Hassy system the previous year or so. It takes way less months to save up for a Leica lens then a Zeiss made for Hasselblad one. Which feels real cheap if you've been building up your Linhof system. So its best to start with Linhof. Which feels cheap if you've been getting glass for cinematography from all I hear. Glass-Dollar equivalence: G = Dc2, Glass and Dollars are equivalent and transmutable.
