I assume this probably happened to a few other people, but a few days ago I
got an email from LuLu.com saying congratulations! You've been chosen to
have your book listed on amazon.com! How lucky I was! Although the "book" in
question was just a travel diary I whipped up for some family members and I
was horrified to think that it would get listed on amazon next to serious
stuff I spent years working on. I was more concerned that someone from
Harper Collins would see it and say "wtf? This guy is trying to pass off
self-published work?" So I immediately wrote back to Lulu and said "no
thanks, do not want, do not list it." Well, imagine my surprise when they
did anyway. What to do?

Well, I posted in ye olde photo-a-week blog (now at blog.kylecassidy.com for
those of you who stopped following it) and asked people to log onto amazon
and give it the most outrageous reviews possible. Amazon eventually took
down the book by changing the name of it to "none", but the reviews are
still there, and they's hysterically funny -- I invite you to check them out:

Did anybody else get the lulu message?

Kyle
